OPTIONS
STORM SHIELD Hurricane Barriers have one of two mounting options, either Face Mount or Inset Mount .A Face Mount unit is attached to the building outside of the window pocket. This type of unit is used when less than 3" of separation exists between the glass of the window and the screen of the desired STORM SHIELD unit. In addition, a Face Mount unit must have 3" of space between the window pocket and the nearest trap or obstruction on each site of the window.
An Inset Mount unit is attached to the building's window reveal. In this case, at least 3" of separation does exist between the glass of the window and the screen of the desired STORM SHIELD unit.
